Not a Jag owner yet, but within the next few days I will have a 2007 XKR
Covertible. Being a former Corvette owner (hence the user name NEVETTE) I am anxiously waiting to get behind the wheel of the Jag. I am buying the XKR from Carmax in Roseville, Ca. and am having it brought up from Modesto Carmax. I have read umpteen reviews about the XKR and have been very impressed with the impressions of the reviewers.

I hope to learn alot about the Jag experience on this site and anticipate participating on this forum.

Nevin

welcome to the site NEV, good to have you here with us and thanks for a nice intro with good info!

Please check out the relevant section for your ride and you will find good info there, especially in the FAQ quick link thread.

The off topic section can be fun and there's always the regional section so you can see who is around!
I've manually upgraded you to full forum access so you can better view all the sites features....
Enjoy....

Thanks, Jim for the bump. And Cadillac, you were quite correct in that I'm loving the Jag more than the Vette. I have had the XKR now for about a 1 1/2 months and cannot believe the difference between it and my old C-5. The quality of materials and craftsmanship are truly amazing, while the ride is far superior to the Vette (even with magnetic ride control). I am amazed at the positive comments I receive about the Jag.

Thanks for the welcome's and a great forum.

Nev.

The Corvette is an icon of America, so glad you ran one for a while. Here in the UK they are rare, because there is no RH-drive version.

The XK is a wonderful car, but it surely cost a lot more than the Corvette.

Welcome to the forum!

Oh one other thing you need to put your car details in your signature. I am speaking of the Year, Make & Model. Without it you may not get the input you are looking for.

Please take a moment and read the information provided to you explaining the rules. Be patient and enjoy the site.

Hello Nevette and welcome to the forums!

I absolutely love the 2007+ XK's and XKR's. There was a 2007 XK for sale here where I live, but I just couldn't get my wife to make the jump from our S-type. Apparently, something silly like having to put our two kids in the backseat was a deal breaker. Silly, silly girl. Lol.

Enjoy your ride and enjoy the forums here. There are a lot of great members here - the admin's and mod's ain't too bad either...

Welcome to the forum Nev, sweet looking XKR you have there. Good to have you with us.

@Rob, well you do get to muck about with single seat fighters, so she can't be all that silly. LOL
