I'm NEW to The Forum: joined to determine if a Jaguar XK should be in my future.

I live in Juno Beach, FL & being in my Senior Years, I feel entitled to a new toy. Having two local grandkids, I need a car capable of seating four for short distances (less than 10 miles).

I've only looked @ OffLease Only in West Palm Beach; 2010 & 2011 models of the XK.

The reviews I've read have been complimentary .... except for the descriptions of the Nav System & occasionally about the sound system / complexity of Bluetooth connectivity to iPhone / iPod.

Q: Are these legitimate concerns? Are there Nav system updates available / can a three-year-old system be replaced?

Thanks for any input.

Chuck

Welcome to the forum Chuck,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

Mr granddaughter started complaining about the rear seat of my earlier model XK8 when she was about nine. The XK has even less rear seat room so it would be suitable only for two very young children. You should take them along for a test drive!

Follow this link XK / XKR - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the XK/XKR forum for help, advice and information.

Welcome to the JAG forum. I'm a newbie as well. In my senior years also and 10 days ago decided to treat myself to my first jag--2012 XJL Portfolio. I bought mine on Ebay from Port St. Lucie, FL and had it transported to my home using an enclosed transporter.

I just joined this forum. I have found a lot of information that has been extremely helpful and I'm sure you will.

Again, welcome to the JAG forum.

It kind of is what it is. I haven't heard of lots of success with aftermarket replacements in these cars. But while the entertainment/nav system is clunky, the car is a gem. Best of luck to you!
