No start No crank
My 2003 Jag type X had its enertia button set off by a person not an accident. It was completely broken off. I replaced it with one from a vehicle in the junkyard that was not wrecked. I reset the ECM by taking the cables off the battery and touching them together for 15 minutes. I have also ran the codes. Still says the enertia button is tripped! It still will not start. Im going on 3 weeks with troubleshooting and im ready to junk it!
Hello, Katherine,
It's SOOO frustrating when you do everything you know, and the car still doesn't work right!
Someone will be along shortly to direct you to our X-type section where members who speak X-type fluently can help you get your car back on the road, and not to the junk yard.
Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.
