Default not a fix for tranny?

Hello,

Hello, I have a 94 xj6 that was in limp mode, but now does not move foward when in drive, but does move in reverse. I would like to fix this issue myself unless it is a tranny overhaul. any suggestions on where i should start first? i may have to replace a trans forward selenoid/decoder module/tcm is my best guess...

thanks,

Rick

Default Welcome!

Good morning Rick,

Sorry to hear about your transmission problems. I know that you will get a lot of help from this website with regard to this issue.
Also we have a Jaguar meet taking place on September 22, at Addison Oaks, here's the link:

Hopefully I will get to meet you and your car in person.
All the best to you.
