New Member. Just bought a 77 Jag XJ6L with what I'm told is an LT-1 out of a Corvette. Couple of problems the PO didn't tell me about, so signed up here to see if I could get help.

 

I don't see the edit button, so I assume I can't do that yet since new, but forgot to add that I'm MD, USA.

Congratulations on your new Jaguar Xj6! You have the very best of both worlds in that car, Classic Beauty and Modern Power.
It's not surprising the PO didn't tell you about few things, they suddenly get amnesia at when they try to sell a beautiful old car like this, hoping the prospective buyer will be so Smitten they won't ask any hard questions.
