Default Oldie/Newby saying hello from Western Canada

Good day all.
Just picked up a 2007 XK. I had owned an XJ and an S type in the '70s so it's nice to get back into the brand.
After a recent bike crash, which left me still somewhat fragile and not yet approved to ride, I thought I needed another vehicle apart from the wife's Prius and my Tundra until I am back on two wheels.
So far I am really happy with the XK. In hindsight maybe I should of looked for an R, but the standard XK is good fun and I'm looking forward to using it as a GT which is what it was intended for.
Not sure how active I will be in the forum, as I am in several bike and aircraft forums, but I'll try and make an effort to participate.
Have a good one.

Greetings Andrew and welcome to JF.
Yes, the XK8 is a great GT ride, so best wishes for a safer time on four wheels.
Bunch of great people and sound advice here on the XK8/XKR sub-forum.

Cheers,

Hello, Andrew,
I'm sorry to read about your bike crash, but I'm glad you're on the mend.
Congratulations on your new Jaguar! That will keep you entertained while you convalesce.

Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.

Sorry to hear of your high speed asphalt inspection. Good luck on the mend. Welcome to the forum, at least in a Jag you don't have to worry about ATGATT.
