Joining up
Currently living in Alice Springs, Australia. 82 year old teacher in part time work still having been a headmaster from1966 until 2009.
Have several vehicles and bikes. Favoured is the XJ V12 1976 saloon. White with black vinyl roof.
Undergoing some repairs with petrol tanks rusting out - water ingress through the filler cap! New tanks hard to find and next series fit but fuel exits backwards so much tricky plumbing.
Today I am buying a sad Daimler Double Six for parts - engine and box are great, interior and duco in terrible condition. Under the bonnet are the best most useful parts.
Look forward to learning more about fixes and ideas.
I'll add photos when the Jag is back home.

Welcome to the forum. I had to Google "duco" as I hadn't heard that term before but got it now. One is never too old to learn, just hope I can remember it tomorrow. 😒
