Only one passenger door not locking
Hello All from the UK.
I suspect I know the answer to this issue but thought I'd just throw it out there in case I am wrong! - So I have a lovely FX 2009 6V 3litre and I am dead proud of it. It is almost perfect apart from the near side rear passenger door does not lock using the central locking. IT DOES UNLOCK. Also if I keep the unlock button on the fob pushed down, it unlocks and all the windows open (as they should) BUT! When I keep the LOCK button down on the fob not only does this door not lock , THE window DOESN'T go up (as it should)
I have had a good look at the lock mechanism and connections and all look good and lubricated. Last comment - The lock/unlock button on the door DOES manually do it's job
Going to replace the ECU
All thoughts helpful

Welcome to the forums Alan,
The number one cause of this problem is a failed microswitch in the door latch.

Welcome to the Forums.
I am with Graham here. ECU's rarely fail, but the device that "tells" the ECU what to do is another factor.
Good luck.
