Default Outside mirror controls

I am new-Today, I bought a used 2006 XKR Convertible. I checked nearly everything before I bought it except the side mirror controls. The controls are dead. Neither the driver's side or passenger side mirror move at all. I have had issues with other vehicles in the past but almost always, there is some movement. Could this be a fuse? Unfortunately, the car did not come with the owner's manual so I have no idea which fuse it is or where it's located. Help!
Thanks
STeve

Welcome to the Forums.

2006 was a model change.

X100 is the steel body car
X150 is the Aluminium body car.

There are "stickies" at the top of each section, down the home page a tad, and there will be a handbook PDF to download, plus. the members will have clues to your mystery.

Good luck

Welcome to the forums Steve,

Good to have you with us.

In the US, I think your XKR will be on of the last of the steel bodied X100's and not one of the first of the aluminium bodied X150's like mine. Follow this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/xk8-xkr-x100-17/ to the XK8/XKR forum for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues. You can also use the US Midwest Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/us-midwest-39/ to find other members in your region.

Please add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

Enjoy the forums.

Graham
