s type r 2003

Hi all, I'm new to jags, so thought as this car is a definite 'keeper' I'd best join the forum .. Promised myself one when I turned 50 to have fun in, and to be a 'replacement' for the bikes I'm no longer fit to thrash round on. I'm Steve, I'm from Staffordshire, and I'm a freelance design engineer by trade, currently working at RR aero in Derby. The username is a reference to a previous life when I was a test rider at MIRA (employed by Triumph hinckley) and used to compete in 250 circuit racing on an amateur basis (some would say very amateur !) .. I've had the S type R about 6 months now, and it's been an utter joy, apart from the STUPID handbrake, which had gone wrong twice already ! So, hello from sunny staffordshire !

Please add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
