been following for about a year, i'm a 50"s something artist who built big machines(welder by trade) for half my life so i'm pretty handy around the tool box. I inherited a 2003 s type about a year ago so i've been following and am finally introducing. I'm in the southeast US so car time is exceptional here and i'm really liking this jaguar, but with time against us all she's starting to be in need of some upkeep. the odometer reads 164,000 miles but im sure thats not right. I know the previous owner and know it was driven extensively, with that i know that it was dealer serviced regularly, he was the type of guy that if he came outside in the morning and had a low tire he would go buy 4 new tires,lol, serious. Anyhow i have been able to do the upkeep with help from this forum and am looking forward to being able to get some more insite as i've encountered some bigger issues, and hope to be able to help at some point as i'm learning more and more about this jewel as it happens. I had considered not keeping the car at first but really enjoyed driving it so i've decided to learn as much as i can while enjoying working on it as well, i guess one could say "i'm hooked". good day, and glad to be apart of this forum. thank you!
