Second-time Jag owner!
Hey all,
I've been nursing my Series III back to health for about a year now. I used to own an X300 (which was the most reliable car I ever owned by far, even beating out Toyotas), but I caught the itch again. I've been replacing things in chunks--starting with the bad head gasket--and plan to swap my interior to cream one day, if I can find seats in good shape. For now, it's a lovely daily that always has something for me to tinker with. Can't have a labour of love without labour!
I'm from the West coast of Canada, a fairly popular place to find old Jags being anything but driven.

Welcome to the forums Chulainn,
Good to have you with us and to hear you use your Series III daily.
I can see you've already found your way to the XJ6 & XJ12 Series I, II & III forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues. You can also use the Canada Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/canada-73/ to find other members in your region.
Please read the guidance for new members ( https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/n...ned-up-241802/ ) which answers many of the most frequent questions about getting started.
Enjoy the forums.
Graham

Thanks, everyone! I'm looking forward to participating and doing my part to fill in some of the missing bits of info for all of us at-home Jag "mechanics." After I sort out my current electrical gremlins, I'm going to work on refinishing my dash and making the gauge lights clearer. Then, it's time to rebuild the A/C system, and finally, refresh the entire front suspension.
