Welcome to the forum 05Htownjag,

I suppose that counts as an Intro.

Your question suggests you have an S-Type R and from your forum user name that it's probably a 2005 model ......?

We don't ask for much personal information from members but vehicle details and location (City, State) are essential to help other members give relevant advice.

Apart from the obvious engine difference, there are many other differences between the 3.0 and the STR. I suggest you post the question in S-Type forum adding some details about the parts you want to identify and source. Members there will help identify the correct parts and (depending on your location), the best source. A Jaguar dealer or aftermarket parts specialist will need your VIN to identify the correct parts - often, even on the same specification of a model, the part will change depending on the VIN range.

I can see you've already found your way to the S-Type forum so there's no need for a link to it from me.
The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

Enjoy the forums.

Graham
