Hello all,

I am a Mom who bought her first time driver a Jaguar for his first car. How cool am I?? LOL Bad news is, it was really too much car for him and of course repairs are costly and he is a College student and has a part time job. . We have now got him a more reasonable car that a family member gave him but now we have this Jaguar that needs some love from someone who appreciates this car and maybe is a car person who can restore it or use it as a parts car. We are not car people and not handy. So we now have a Jaguar Xtype 2002 sitting in our yard. While it is an awesome lawn ornament, this care was meant to be loved.

Thank you for letting me join and I hope to post the car soon.

Welcome to the forum Sassy0416,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

Before posting the car, please read the guidance on advertising:

https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/p...ellers-100730/

The forum is here for members to discuss running and maintaining their Jaguars and is not an alternative to Craigslist etc as a place to sell them. However, you have started in the right way and I'll not kick you off for that reason.

Follow this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x-type-x400-14/ to the X-Type forum for help, advice and information.
The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You can also visit the US Northeast Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/us-northeast-35/
to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forums.

Graham
