Been reading Jaguar forums for years and finally have my own 1997 XK8. Wanted to be a part of your community. I started with a New 1978 MGB GT then on to a 1980 MGB. Frame up restoration of a 67 Triumph TR4 in 1988. Took a break to raise kids and make some money. Now I’m back in the restoration business. Too old to crawl under a car anymore so my 97 included a 2 post lift. Makes me want to fix things that aren’t even broken! So far have rebuilt rear suspension, replaced cam cover gaskets and replaced steering column (not a pleasant experience). Front suspension is next. Couldn’t have done any of this without reading posts on the forum.
