Welcome to the forum Timster00,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

I can't make out from this exactly what the issue is you are trying to troubleshoot or even what model and year you have.

As you have also posted in an old thread in X-Type forum, I'll assume you have an X-Type? If so, t
he 'HOW TO' thread at the top there is a good place to start for info on regular issues.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You can also visit the US Mid West Region forum by following this link Mid West US - IL IN IA MI MN MO OH WI - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum
to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forums.

I've copied your question to a new thread in X-Type tech forum. Here is a direct link to it:

I've also edited your forum Signature to add your vehicle details. This will appear with your next post.
