Default Wipers indicators horn not working

Jag XK8 2002. After some body work repairs (damaged rear wing replaced) I am having electrical/electronic problems with the horn, wipers and indicators not working. It was intermittent but is now a “hard” fault. Battery is new and fully charged.
i read an article, that I can no longer find, about some sealed ni-cad batteries in a box. Could this be the problem?
