Default XJL (2011) New Member.....Parking Sensor

Newbie...my front passenger side parking sensor has fail inside of the bumper and there seems to be no good way to pop it back in place. Suggestions?

Also, Has anyone noticed that the blue book value of XJ's has dropped significantly in the last few weeks. The value of my 2011 XJ decreased over $10k in the last week. Wonder Why?

Thanks

Welcome. I'm not familiar with the sensor, But maybe unplug and push it through from the front?
Is the car worth less to you?

Welcome.

Nothing holds its value anymore, reality I suppose.

Hello,
Someone will be along shortly to direct you to the correct section where you can find all the help you need.

I personally feel there's entirely too much worrying about the "value" of one's car, unless you're planning to sell it soon, in which its value is whatever you can get out of it no matter what "Blue Book" says.

Welcome to the forum WVJagXJLSC,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

If only the Sensor (item 3) has dropped out of the Mounting Bracket (item 5), it may be possible to gain access to the rear to push it back in by removing the bumper undertray. If the bracket has come away then it's likely the bumper will have to come off to to fit/refit it.

I can see you've already found your way to the X351 forum so there's no need for a link to it from me.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You can also visit the US Mid Atlantic Region forum by following this link US Mid Atlantic - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum
