Welcome aboard.

Yes the "AJ16" straight six is very good engine. They seem to soldier-on forever and we very seldom hear of any internal failures.

Cheers

Hi Frank,
Yes it is a factory colour. My 4L was also in turquoise and you will also see it on the XJS Celebration model.

Hope this eases your mind a bit.

And a rather rare color as well. I've only seen two "X300" type Jags in the turquoise, neither an XJR.

My impression is that the majority of XJR/6s that came to the USA were the oh-so-boring black.

Like mine

Cheers

Welcome to Jaguar Forums frankgay41,

Good to have you here with us at Jaguar Forums.

My X300 seemed indestructible and I only sold it because I wanted a change.

If you post the 3-Letter Paint and Trim codes from the label on the door pillar, we can give you the actual Jaguar colours.

Follow Steve's link to the X300 forum for help, advice and information.
The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues.

Enjoy the forums.

Graham
