Default Xk8

So, took the Land Rover in for service and there was this 98 XK8 sitting out front. Dealer made me a heck of a deal and took my 89 Corvette Convertible in on trade. Back in to the Jaguar fold again. Previous Jag 8 or 9 years ago was a 1976 XJ12C. Hoot to drive but a pain in the #$%^ to keep tuned. Hopefully the XK8 will be as fun as the Vette was and am looking forward to road tripping around Michigan this spring. Hope to see you out there.

The XJ6/12's are beautiful cars. Whenever I took mine out, people just seemed to appear out of nowhere to look her over. Guess there weren't that many coupes around as people were surprised to see a two door. She went to a good home in New Mexico where the current owner is doing a complete rebuild this year.

The coupe was the one I really wanted but when it was current I could only stretch to buying the four door XJ6 at the time. Even after all these years and many later Jaguar models, the two door models still look superb.
