Hi,


I am a new member but as I as guest I got the best ever advice on electrical issues on my aging XK8 from this forum. My electrics were starting to fail bit by bit.... first the central locking failed, which was fine for a while as using the key to lock it also set the alarm, but then the windows stopped dropping down to clear the seals making it very hard to open the doors. Thought I had some big repair bills coming but having read the advice in the forum, I bit the bullet and disconnected the battery then reconnected it, to reboot the system. Hey presto, all electrics back to normal. Only had to reset the windows (again using advice from the forum) and put in the radio code. happy bunny again
