05 s type 4.2 water pump replacement
Does anyone know how many foot pounds to torque the mounting bolts on the water pump ? The specs I found online say 18.4 (25 Nm), but I cleaned the threads and broke a bolt in the block. Luckily it came out in one piece.
I have a 3" extension, so I'm thinking of a 25% reduction to 14 ft.lbs.

Realistically you will probably get a 1/8 to 1/3 turn after you get to 8Nm. Dont force it to 90 degrees.
