Default 2000 s type 4.0 sucking oil into throttle body

I have a s type with 71000 miles. New plugs and replaced three coils. New timing chains and guides and tensioners. It has recently started smoking and sucking oil through the intake tube from the driver side valve cover. I drilled out the port on the passenger side valve cover port and it seemed fine. Then while I had it on ramps to recharge the ac it started smoking really bad after it came of the ramps. I drove it for 10 miles and it smoke everytime it went above 2500 rpms. I took the intake tube off and opened the throttle body blade and can see it's coated with a heavy coat of oil inside. I thought about deleting the tube running from the driver side valve cover to the intake tube, since that is where it's sucking the oil from. Putting a filter on the valve cover and capping the intake tube. I am lost and need direction.

Make sure BOTH cam covers have free flowing pathways/breathers.(especially the one to the air cleaner)
Clogged mesh screens in the cam covers can create pressure?

Can I just remove the mesh?

The mesh area is a sort of OIL SEPARATOR.

Well what can we do for it? I tried engine degreaser when I had it apart for the timing chains. Didn't seem to help

Most metallic mesh screens can be cleaned with mineral spirits, brake cleaner, etc. Engine degreaser is mostly diesel fuel, IIRC, and lacks the ability to break down the varnishes that hold the "goo" to the mesh...

I have run a compression check. All cylinder were above 146-175. I saw no cylinders low side by side and watched each one for about 5 mins. Didn't see any leaking down. Several plugs were fouled out and had oil build up on them. Wondering if the compression rings could be good and the oil control rings be bad?

If your engine was produced prior to August 2000, it will have nikasil cylinder liners which can be troublesome:
