Unhappy 2003 STR is burning oil & smoking from the engine bay

Hello, I'm posting to see if I can narrow down this issue.. I have a 2003 S-Type R & for a while I've been leaking + burning oil. I don't have any issue with the smoke leaking through the exhaust, so it seems like it's leaking from the block & potentially dripping onto a manifold/exhaust. I get a good amount of smoke with that burnt oil smell, and if pushed hard I lose a lot of oil. It doesn't leak while it sits, and doesn't leak when I take it easy... I figured it could be the crankcase valve is causing too much oil/fuel pressure and may have blown a gasket or two.. I'm not entirely sure.

I'm curious if these AJ V8's have any common issues that could possibly narrow this issue down for me.. I'm reluctant to get it fully inspected right now as it's a tad expensive & I'm keeping oil in it. I have no fault codes attached to this problem & 98% of the time the engine runs very smooth and strong. Sometimes it feels like a slight misfire/vacuum leak is happening but I doubt it's related to the oil issue. Any advice is very appreciated, thank you!

As I had to learn over time painfully: Possible locations for oil leaks are plentiful on Jags.
But your description makes a leak at the cam-cover gasket(s) likely. As this would be easiest to fix, why not have a closer look at yours?
Maybe you don't even have to take too much apart, if you use a little camera on a stick (endoscope). Those are extremely cheap on the usual Chinese online sales sites. Less than AUD$10. You connect them to your phone. You probably have to download general app for your phone to make it work.

PS: I do not have a supercharger myself, nor any experience with those, but I believe that those are yet another possible source for an oil leak...

If it's loosing oil under load it could the related to the PCV which is not particularly expensive to swap. You can take it off and check it closes under pressure and does not allow intake pressure into the crank case.
