I am getting a rapid beep sound when I open the door. Stops in about 5 seconds. Reoccurs when the engine shut off and again stops in 5 seconds.

Second problem the button on the dash will not open the trunk, the key for opens the trunk and the manual open also works.
Any help for me would be appreciated.

What does it do in each of these when you open the door:
1. with engine on
2. engine off but ignition II
3. engine off, ignition I
4. engine off, key in, ignition off

 

Check to see if the valet button in the glove box is pressed. If so, button on dash won't work.

 

in all cases no beeping sound when you open door.
