Default Anyone running EBC pads on their STR??

About to throw some new pads on.. I have an R with Brembos and was wondering if anyone has tried EBCs on this car? the Redstuff pads are about 110 for the fronts and the Yellowstuff are about 130, not too bad.. I ran EBC's on my Audi and they were great, but I would like to hear from someone using them on the R??

Not a STR but 4.0 sport..I run EBC rotors and pads and find their stopping power amazing.Brake dust levels are reasonable. However, the pads do wear out quickly if you do alot of aggresive brakingso you'll want to keep a close eye on them.

Yeah I could deal with that.. how is the rotor wear on yours? the 14" rotors on this car are way too expensive to tear up... Thanks for the help

I have about 35K on the rotors and feel they'll need replaced in aprox. 10K...maybe sooner. I'm ready for my 3rd set of pads on these rotors.I live in the mountains and have a 45 - 55 min commute several times a week. The roads I travel are quite windy and have alot of elevation change so my brakes and tires usually don't live very long anyhow. I'm pleased with the EBC's and more than likely will continue to use them.

On a side note...I'd love to see some pics of your turbo Duster.[sm=gears.gif]

I replaced my OEM pads with Akebono Ceramic pads. They give off practically no brake dust and my rotors have not been negatively affected at all. No complaints at all.
