Default Automatic headlights acting up....

Anyone know where the Automatic Sensor is located on the 03' S type R or S for automatic headlights turning on & off? For some reason mine are acting up alittle bit(example, not turning off when its daylight; takes awhile then turns off automatically), not sure if the sensor is dirty or what, any thoughts?

Thanks?

I think it's a sensor in the same housing as the alarm (PATS) light (front centre top of dash by the windshield). Cover it fully to check.

If its not there check where the rear view mirror is on the outside of the windshield. There is a sensor on the backside that you can see if you look at the center of the outside of the windshield. May be really dirty or if you put a sticker or something in the center you may of covered it up.

Thanks amigo, but the sensor is up front of the center area of the dash. Tested it and it works fine, kinda strange why there was a delay in going off, ohh well, its all good.
