Default Battery - Where to Buy?

After some research, it appears to be a challenge to buy batteries online (60lbs + hazardous, duh). The only semi decent replacement I found was Pep Boys for $120 or $140, under the Bosch Brand but I am not excitied. Advanced Auto sells the Auto Craft gold which is a good brand, but there are no brick and mortar stores in my state. Any ideas? I'd like to replace this before temps in Arizona get really hot. I don't even want to bother calling the Jag dealer.

I replaced the factory battery in my wife's 2006 XK8 with the appropriate Bosch battery in September 2012. I purchased it using a $20 Pep Boys coupon and it continues to perform flawlessly. I check the water level in the battery cells at least quarterly and top them up as needed. That significantly extends battery life for ANY battery....

Pep Boys is selling Bosch batteries for $30 off their normal list price through tomorrow, December 1st. That's the best deal I've ever seen them for them....

+1 to the Bosch battery or (if you can find one) under the Kirkland Brand at Costco.

I've always used Interstate when replacing my car batteries. On a previous car, I sold it with a 11 year old Interstate battery in it still working just fine.

If you want a Jaguar replacement it is an Interstate that they put a Jaguar sticker on for the dealers. It has been that way for over 10 years

Check out your local Firestone. My friend got an Interstate battery installed in his S-type for about $120 from there.

I put the Pep Boys Bosch in a few weeks back for mine, figuring the original battery was probably due for replacement (didn't want to chance it just reading around here about funny problems that can happen due to the battery). Used the same $20 coupon deal mentioned above, seemed like a decent deal.

I just bought an Autocraft Gold for $144 at Advanced Auto. Had I known ahead of time I could have just ordered online and picked it up in the store and saved 20%!

I have an '03 STR that still had the original Jaguar battery in it, and it was still working! But start up takes a little longer and the battery dies fairly quickly when the car isn't running so I thought I'd replace the 10yr old battery.
