my a/c heater blower fan turns on about 5 minutes after the car is shut off and keeps running. in the shop right now. $120 for diagnostic. I called 3 jag dealers and none could tell me the cause. cant wait to hear what the cause is. dreading the cost to fix

 

Mine comes on after about 15 -20 minutes to clear cabin of condensation. Shuts off after a minute or two and stays off until I drive the car again.

If this is what yours is doing it is a normal design feature.

 

It's even documented - shock!

Mine seems to stay on longer although I never timed it. it seems odd after 4 years of it never happening to just start. JagV8 can u tell me where its documented? Thanks to both

 

Er, struggling to recall - maybe one of the Tech Guides. Or JTIS.

 

Thanks I'll look as well. I just wanted to be informed if the dealer trues to charge me for feature not a problem. Plus they should know if this is a feature and should not have done the diagnostic if it truly is a feature.
