Default Car was vandalized :/

I called the police and they didn't file an accident report because of the awkward nature of the damage. The cop said it was impossible for my car to be hit by another car because of how it was parked.
I recorded a video of where I parked my car:

I parked in the back of my gym when no one was around. There also deep scratches on the hood of my vehicle. I don't know what to believe. My parents and the police think it was hit with a blunt object, but I don't know how. My gym is located in one of the richest cities in America. There are plenty of more expensive cars to damage, like Audi R7's, Benz S class, BMW 7 series, Lexus, etc. I see about 2-3 of each type every time I walk through my gym's parking lot. I don't have anyone out to get me, so if someone did do it, they did it just to be an *******.

Pisses me off .

Maybe someone was walking by, slipped on the ice, and hit the car with their hard head, or possible with something they were carrying. What sucks is that they wouldn't leave a note.

Sorry, but I'm always looking for the "innocent" reason for something like this. For example, I came out of the grocery store today and found a shopping cart about 1" from that same exact location on my car (right front fender). Rather than assume that some ******* carelessly or otherwise pushed it there, I figured someone might've bumped it when they were walking between the cars and it was left there by someone else.

Jealous Audi driver maybe? He was upset that he bought the wrong car so he punched yours?

LOL! Mike. TheYes, two months ago my 03 STR had its tires slashed and bumper covers keyed. It pissed me off and left me feeling violated. By the looks and height of the dent, perhaps a pickup accidently backed up on her? Otherwise, a no biggy for the bodyshop.

Did the cop say "Are you sure it wasn't like that when you parked it?" If so, bet that got under your skin!

Sorry to hear this.

It doesn't look like a hit from another vehicle. At least it hasn't deformed the wheel arch or damaged the headlamp so repair shouldn't be too difficult.

I told this story to a guy at my gym. He told me growing up, people always vandalized his parents Cadillacs. He bought a new BMW at 19 and it was severely keyed twice.
