Can anyone advise as to an alternative diagnostic tool to the "JLR Mongoose for Jaguar and Land Rover V131 " with software, and where I might find one? Looked on OBD2 site and info is a bit confusing. Seems to say the JLR is not compatable with anything before 2005 under "package contents." Under the "key features", that it "supports reprogramming for Jaguar 1999 & up, Land Rover 2005 & up." Can I use this for my application or do I need another device?

Apparently they work fine. People who sell such things tend not to know much about car years & models.
