Fan Running

so i replaced my radiator after it blew but im still having some minor overheating issues. The fan is still running after the car is shutoff. Would the thermostat be causing that?

Absolutely! Get that thermostat changed, pronto. Anytime the temperature has exceeded normal by very much, it's a good idea to change the thermostat. Internal wax pellet just can't take it.

new thermostat will be here within the week, but until then is it safe drive as long as i don't let it overheat? its my only street legal vehicle and i need to get to and from work 6 miles both ways.

since changing thermostat , try going for eurotoys's low temp one
