The 6 cylinder S Types are factory limited at 121 MPH as is noted in the shop manual. Mainly because of the speed rating of the tires fitted at the factory.
The STR's are set at 155 MPH. Interesting note: The 2011 Jaguar XKR has a "Speed Pack" option which has a 174 mph speed limiter!!
