Any member pulled apart or had problems with the folding door mirrors on a 95 S-Type,
Mine tend to work when they feel like it, they get stuck half way, could be lubricant? sometimes they work perfectly, its definitely a mechanical fault.
anyone any ideas of how to go about inspecting the mechanism or lubricating it?

Multiple threads with details but just pull off rear cover and add oil.

 

thanks for the reply, been out of town now back and with my S-type, can you tell me how the rear covers come off, I don't want to brake any clips experimenting

Also do you know where I can pick up 12v feed ignition operated under the hood? trying to wire in a pair of daytime running leds.
I been trying with my multimeter and cant find a simple feed.

No DRLs, they're awful. Covers just pull outwards, your nails if they're tough.
