Default A Gamble on a 2003 str with collision damage

So I picked up a 03 str that was hit on the rear passenger side. The previous owner claims while driving 25 mph a car hit the rear wheel of the 03 str.
First time I saw the car was on a tow truck with the rear wheel hanging by the cv axle and brake line. I got it home and put the rear of car on jack stands.
I spent all evening surveying the damage and or neglect.
The key for the lug nut locks was nowhere to be found, so I removed the brake line from the caliper and was able to pull the axle out with the wheel still on the spindle.
First survey or damage-
Broken rear lower control arm, broken upper control arm ball joint,
cv axle mangled, sway bar end links deteriorated (both)
stabilizer links bent. The only body damage was a slight bend in the fender well and broke 2 clips that hold the bumper to the rear quarter panel. No scratches. Ill post photos later today.
I tried to start it up but it jst turned over. Im guessing a fuel shut off needs to be reset. I pulled some codes.
p0400
p1646
1165
p1000
c1165
Its got 112,000. Needless to say I'll be doing some heavy reading these next few days and some part sourcing as well.
So im interested to see if my gamble on this car will pay off. The car is black on black and I remember Wesley Snipes saying in some movie " always bet on black".
Then again isn't he in jail.
Oh well, one way or another this car is going to be driven again.
Thanks for reading.

Brave - but good luck!

Generally the "key" is in the trunk - lift carpet and there should be wheel chock, jack etc above the spare.

P1000 is slightly odd but may be simply that battery went flat or was disconnected.

Once the site lets you, grab JTIS and JEPC - free. If you didn't get owner handbooks, follow site info and get those too.

Good luck! The p1000 code will always be present, so it is nothing to worry about. There is not a fuel pump reset button, just an inertia switch behind the passenger side kick panel.

P0400 - Exhaust Gas Recirculation Flow Malfunction
p1646 - RH or (passenger side in the US) upstream O2 sensor
c1165 - Speed Wheel Sensor RR Input Circuit Failure

No! P1000 should ONLY be present briefly till it turns into P1111.

Default Finally received and installed all the replacement parts-one issue

Hey guys thanks for the tips on the CEL codes and the inertia switch. So I installed the upper/lower control arm, torsion bars and sway bar end links.
The half shaft is a different story. The old one was broke at the outer knuckle.
It had to be removed from the differential. I didn't realize it requires special tools to remove and install the half shaft. Thanks to this forum for the info.
So I guess I damaged the inner seal and possible outer seal when the shaft came out. The other side has a leak so I plan on replacing all of them.
Is there a way I can get the shaft in without the tool or a way to rig one up.
I want to move the car into my garage. I cant stand looking at it on jack stands anymore.

Be sure and use STR suspension parts. The N/A car stuff will bolt on and we are not exactly sure what all Jaguar changed between the SC and NA cars but there are several suspension pieces with a SC cast into them. The thinking is this stands for Super Charged.

There are several STR parts cars on EBay. I would contact them for parts.

Default fuel delivery issues-need help trouble shooting

OK I finally got the STR on the ground.
Shes looking pretty however shes a stubborn bi***.
So no fuel is being pumped.
-I changed the filter
-New Battery
-At least 8 gallons in the tank however its says more than full tank on the gauge.
-When I turn the key on the fuel tank sounds like a old rusty motor turning on for 2 seconds
-dash says no DTC
-scanner reads P1000
Ive read over 30 posts and I feel like Im chasing my tail. Can anyone point me in the right direction to a step by step troubleshooting type post.
At this point this is my only car. I appreciate the help.

You have changed the fuel filter and still have no pressure but you can hear the pump run a bit.

This points to the fuel pump or pumps depending on what you find. They are PWM controlled so you don't know if the pump is the problem or the fuel pump controller is not supplying the right signal.

Do you have the electrical guide? It's on the forum if you don't.

P1000 is in the codes PDF in the stickies and in JTIS, same place, and basically confirms you've had the battery off. It'll change to P1111 only if you can get some drive cycles done so won't happen yet.

I think the OE-type OBD can look at or even control the pump signals but you can likely see them adequately with 'scope or maybe DVOM.

Check the dash lights self-test. Watch the PATS light as you try to start. It should go from its normal occasional flashes to being out. Instead it may flash a code. Let us know if it's OK or not.

ok I locked the door then unlocked. Flashes when door is locked, unlocked and turned the key no flashing red light.
(Im assuming the PATS light is the red in the top middle dash)
Also now key fob is now not working after battery change.
I have power on fuse 4 in Passenger compartment fuse box
also on f17 on the trunk fuse panel.
I changed the r15 relay around with another matching one.-no difference.
I went and bought a driver control module off ebay in case thats what its is. However it will be here friday or Monday. I would like to verify its the problem though. Any thoughts on that?
I appreciate the help

Check and reset the fuel pump inertia switch by the footwell if you haven't already.

yes of course. that was the first thing I checked. I had a neighbor that smacked his 5.0 mustang into a curb while swingin donuts. After that it never ran for him. I bought it for $500 a year later. Fresh gas and hit the fuel shut off/inertia switch. 2 minutes of donuts and figures 8's had the neighbor enraged. he asked to buy it back for 6 months straight

Thumbs up yeahhhhhh SHE's alive

well guys I got her running Tuesday. Turns out a hose on the fuel pump had came off thus not pumping fuel. Put it back on and she fired right up. Couple of issues though. There is a noise coming from the upper part of the motor. Its ubove the intake so I dont believe its the valve train. Any thoughts? Ill be reading up. I know some of the hoses are bulging as well.
Also the stereo has no sound. I remember something about a radio code when you get a new battery. Now I just need to change my insurance and Im in traffic.
thanks Jaguarforums.com and the people that helped out.

Any picture of which hose and which pump it was? The STR is a bit complicated in that area.

It would be a good idea to change all the hoses you can get to. The cars are now old enough that the hoses are decaying. The ones you show are easy to change so at least do those.
