Default Gas leak

So my 2005 STR is leaking gas like crazy from the drivers side fuel pump seal with the tank is full I called Jag about the recall and they say mine is not on the list! so I googled how to get the pump out and it show's a total different cap the whats on my vehicle mine looks like it has a large clamp holding a plastic top in place, any help on how to remove? Thanks, Rich

ive seen this before , some people reinforce the threaded cap by hose clamping around the out side of the threaded cap .
some times this method is used to repair/re use a damaged thread from a major cross threading.

I suspect the recall does afect you but can't find the VIN range right now - try calling Jaguar Corp (not a dealer) and NHTSA or their web www.safercar.gov

I called Jag they said it was not on the recall
