Can anyone help with the part number for the headlamp washer pump for my 04 facelift STR.

JTIS is unclear and doesn't show a number for this part only the windscreen pump. One supplier has highlighted the JTIS diagram and added a part number XR843757 but search engines and supplier sites don't like that number.

Here is the picture of the pump that is fitted to my car. I believe it to be correct as it fits, so this is what I want as a replacement.

It looks a lot like prts 6 & 10 on
https://parts.harperjaguar.com/oem-p...-pump-xr843757
and https://www.jaguarpartsunlimited.com...her-components

But - ask the forum sponsors (SNG B) and you even get a discount.

Thanks but as I said the web doesn't like that part number. The links are US sites and I am in the UK and the SNG Barratt website doesn't recognise the part number at all. The image on JTIS does not look like the pump I have currently fitted which annoyingly doesn't have a part number stamped on it. What's more, google images for XR843757 don't match what I have on my car and I have photographed.

I think you will find it is part of the washer bottle as a complete assembly. But I could be wrong?

Up to vin N13089 is XR850710 £65.97 from Jaguar.

From vin N13089 is XR850711 £83.50 from Jaguar.

Here is a link to a photo of XR850711:

Hmmm.

That doesn't look like the reservoir on my car, which has the pump in question mounted underneath, not on the side as in that picture. The pump pictured is definitely different too.

That made me think I have a non standard part or parts fitted but I've just found this on ebay, which if to be believed is from the same model year as my car and is identical to my failed pump.

Maybe not (I've not looked) but you could contact them and ask.

Which makes me think you don't have a non-standard part but rather are misled by some line drawings.

I worked that out for myself thanks. Any more helpful advice gratefully received. Sarky comments can be kept to yourself. They don't help anyone and reflect badly on the forum.
