Hello everyone, I’m currently in the process with f fixing my car due to a coolant leak but I’m having problems figuring out where to get this part from? Or what it’s even called exactly? I’ve went to plenty of auto parts stores and I guessing they don’t sale this size or part at all !
I need help !!
If you plan to DIY your car repair's. First get the factory manuals so you can identify and find the correct part numbers. Now the good thing is these documents are free and on this forum. There is a bit of a learning curve BUT it will save you thousands of dollars to pursue this.
You need the JTIS-This is the shop manual. You also need the JEPC-This is the exploded parts manual and is the same as the Jaguar dealer uses.
Do some searches on both JTIS and JEPC to get the current information.
This forum is a great resource and again some searching will bring up a ton of useful information.
Thank you for putting your car info in the title as we have a real hard time helping people if we don't know what your working on. Also be aware that Jaguar specifies all their parts using the last 6 digits of your VIN. So always check before ordering anything as many running changers were made over the years that your car was in production.
With the age of your car and as you can see the condition of the plastic cooling parts. It's time to change all of it! All rubber hoses and plastic parts. Otherwise you will replace things one at a time which is frustrating and much more expensive. Especially if your paying for the repairs.

With an OEM part number, you can search online for various suppliers. For example, often a dealer sells off a batch of old parts. Guys will put these items on eBay, for far less than a dealer would have charged. With an OEM number, you may also find aftermarket replacements, too.
