Hi guys. i need to buy some interior parts for my S Type. but as many of you know i live in the Dominican Republic and it isn't easy to find parts here. Ebay has been my friend for the past years for the exterior but for the interior parts with the interior color of my car has been hard. so, I'm asking for help to find the parts that i'm missing to restore the interior of my late dad's Jag. Must be part's from this side of the pond (north america). if someone lives neer a junk yard or a place that probably have this parts and can find parts in good condition
In the next link i upload an excel files with name, location in the car and individual photos of all parts (all in the excel file),also a photo of the interior color code that the car has in the sticker in the driver door and another photo of an interior specifying the two tones that my car has. that way you can tell me how much will you charge for the service (if it comes from the heart, much better lol ).
General advise:
You will also find a lot of parts on aliexpress.com
Search with the part-number or description of the part
PS:
And sometimes you'll even find the odd part on Amazon. I just ordered the X-Type Sump Gasket on Amazon - I found it there under a Mazda P/N after figuring out that that Jag-gasket is identical to a Mazda gasket - apparently used for the transmission on Mazda...

Reason: Added PS note
Wanted to ask if this 4 interior parts are the same in every year of the S type. As you all know my car is a 2001 with NED and AEK Interior and i have found these interior parts but from 2004 and up, but i'm not sure if it will fit
1-Rear Center Console with air vent
2- Front and Rear door Plastic bezel
3- Door and trunk rubber seals, i need front and rear left doors and trunk
This one is about the color
4-Interior Fuse Panel Cover, i have found several but doesn't specify color or said is TAN. My trim is NED with AEK (i think is AEK). this link on ebay the last photo in the paper i think it says "Color: Brown" but again, not sure if it is the color that i need https://www.ebay.com/itm/174698100152
If any of you knows where can i buy parts with the exact color, please let me know. On ebay i have seen some advertised as NED but picture shows a black or brown parts
With the level of detail you are asking I think you should get and install JPART? JPART to Replace JEPC
You will use this a lot and you can trace part numbers to see if they have been superseded after all these years.
One thing to consider and it does work well is to use vinyl dye and spray the parts the color you need. Jaguar had and has many interior colors so as you found it's not easy to find the exact color unless ordering new from Jaguar. If that's even possible with the age of the car.

can this be use? i bough the ivory one tp restore my seats, and was thinking of using it with an airbrush gun as i can't find those colors in spray can.
And what about the other question i asked before?
are photos 1, 2 and 3 the same in an S type from 1999 -2003 (Gen 1) and an S Type 2004 - 2008 (gen 2), will they fit? ask because i have found several of this gen 2 parts in the color that i need but i'm not sure if they will fit in a 2001
Can't help if they will fit or not. As the cars did change but some stuff carried on without changes and some of the newer parts will back fit the older cars. I think your doing what not many have so little prior information. Hopefully other can weigh in with some suggestions.
Those products you linked are labeled for Leather use so for upholstery and not so much for trim and door panels. I have used and had very good luck with SEM products. Take a look here for detailed information; Spray Interior Dye/Paint
Two things are good about SEM. One a large color range as interiors are so varied and the manufactures use different names that don't help in describing the color. On the page above see how close a color match they have to what your looking for. Second they are made for vinyl and plastic parts. Note they do list seat's but if seats are your problem the kits you linked will be way better. They list 53 colors on the web page.
Only downside I have seen is over time the sprayed on color can wear off in high traffic area's.
Can you check if SEM products are available where your at?

Check a place called noma auto parts. They have a lot of s type stuff. They are a wrecking yard in texas. They have a nice easy to use website. If you need to call the place they will answer. If you call i bet you could send an email to them and attach your list. When i needed an a/c line they looked but did not have. They have a lot of cars with parts still available he said

The front and rear door plastic bezel (part #2 in your photos) is definitely interchangeable. I switched the ones from my 2006 3.0 to my 2003 4.2. I had to switch both from the 2006 to the 2003 because of some minor differences in the colour match. I did exchange the front and the rear, so the fit is exact. Just be careful with the little plastic pibs as they can break if you are too rough and then they may end up loose.
The big problem is the colour match. Even when you have the interior trim codes, the car has a lot of different colours for the trim (at least mine does). There is some colour trim guide but even for me it is confusing since I am not sure what parts they are referring to. They don't list every part and in my car which has an interior trim NED, the colours are different in front and back. I will dig up the trim guide and send it to you in a separate message.
