Default Jaguar S Type 2002 (FaceLift) CDC

Hi guys,

I've recently bought a Jaguar S-Type CD Changer (2005) and tried to fit it, removed the side panel from the trunk and I started to look for the Fiber Optic and Power Cable. And so I find a cable, only the Power Cable sadly there is no additional Fiber Optic Cable besides my Phone,Nav and other modules. I found 3 Fiber Optic Links but I am unsure which one I should buy. Could you perhaps help me? Thanks in advance!

The Link to the 3 Fiber Optic Links: http://m.ebay.ie/sch/sis.html?isRefine=true&_itemId=301573984796&_nkw=N EW+JAGUAR+CD+PHONE+NAV+FIBRE+OPTIC+CABLE+LINK+LEAD +X+TYPE+XJ+XK+XF+XR849467&_mPrRngCbx=1&_mwBanner=1

I shall soon post pics with my CD Changer incase if needed.

Good day!

You need to add a link BOF (Black Optic Fibre) lead for the D2B network.
The link cables need to be in a certain order.

The X350 and the X202 should be very similar (if not the same) parts for the D2B Link Lead Matrix.

There is a PARTS TSB for the info.

All the BOF leads can be disassembled and fitted to make the correct connector. There are straight and angled ones as well as different lengths.

I used to work at the dealer so I just went to the parts dept and got the correct one but you can make up one that fits so long as the order of the 'chain' or links is maintained.

Thanks for the help and tips, I will try my best to see if I can do it myself and if not I suppose it's a road trip to a Dealership!

Thanks once again!
