A 4.0 is pre-X
I think X is better called redesign but use facelift you like. Though there's a facelift in 2004 which changed a lot less than the redesign.
I like redesign because they changed so many many things (5-spd auto -> 6 spd ZF, 4.0 -> 4.2, major suspension overhaul, Brembo discs, CAN bus, etc etc).

Here it's a huge problem. Also France, Spain, China, India and many others.
Some cities have had to restrict cars e.g. only allowing them on alternate days (such as odd numbered on one day, even numbered the next).
London is estimated to have many thousands of extra deaths per year due to diesel pollution. (UK government is being sued for failing to address it, too.)

Your on to it . It's our passengers side way down here .
Look across your engine , bank 1 is always slightly more forward than bank 2 .
It will be self explanatory when you pull the plastic cover off and remove your t/b as to how to remove the manafold ,
You'll find a row each side of about 8 screws .
Maybe pre order your gaskits and
Knock sensers , be aware that your earlier sensers may look differant to mine and may thread in to the block rather than bolt down as mine do .
