Default Leaking fluid.

Howdy Folks !!...
Lately I've noticed a few drops in th' Ol' Drip pan in my driveway. It's coming from (just right of center) the front through a hole on that front bottom splash guard forward of the large piece that you take off for oil changes. Whats really weird, it has an orangee color to it (probably coolant)with what looks like pinkish powder.... Looking up from underneith, I couldn't quite see the DCCV, or where the stuff was coming from. The (Ford) Tech opined that it could be the water pump. And that it was about 5 hours labor to change her out. Anybody have any ideas??

Thanks for (I hope) the advice
Take Care
Fast Freddie

I will lay a wager that it is the DCCV or possibly the coolant reservoir.

Probably worth taking plastic panels off underside and tracing the leak. +1 on the above.

As has already been referenced above, by far the two most common coolant leak sources are the Dual Climate Control Valve (DCCV) and the plastic hose nipple at the Coolant Reservoir....

Thank you Fellas for your replies It would seem that the DCCV would be the lessor of two PITA's. So I'll hope for that. I think I can take her in next week... and see what shakes...;>)))

Thanks Again
