They are listed in the owners manual. If you don't have a copy they are on this forum for a free download.

I have the 2003 Lincoln LS engine fuse box listed below. I think this will be the same as your early S Type? Just not 100% sure.

Looks like heated wiper park. These are heating elements that are directly under where the wipers park. Suppose to keep the wiper from freezing to the windshield.

Does your car have anything embedded in the glass under the wipers? Should look like what they use in the rear window defroster grid.

I have all the original manuals but it only lists fuses, not relays (unless I'm being fury blinded, which is very possible) and yes I have heated wiper park, I have a button on the center console for it. Thanks for that. Just goes to show how trouble free my car has been, that's the first time I've looked in the fuse box since I got it ¿¿¿

I expect the Electrical Guide (see JTIS) shows it, too.

Yep. Looks like LH Windshield Heater Relay.

OK. Yes that is one difference I forgot about. The S Type had a heated windshield option but the Lincoln only got the heated wiper rest. No heated windshield for the LS!

Maybe you don't have the heated screen?

Check elec guide to see if it shares the relay which it likely doesn't.

It says 12 is heated wiper park, I suspect maybe another relay was faulty and it was used to replace that one, the strange thing is I thought the heated wiper park was working as that area always defrosted first on frosty mornings, I guess it must have just been the heater blowing on the windscreen.

Do you have wiring receptacles at the relay? Additionally, do you have the button on the HVAC console for the "front defroster - heated wiper park"? When you hit it (if you have it) does it illuminate? (probably not with the missing relay I presume)

http://db.tt/JSpl3pp6 the button in my car

http://db.tt/YesDtfkZ the missing relay

The button lights up and beeps when pressed, I thought it was working as that part of the windscreen always defrosted first, but that could have just been the blowers

That looks like the front heated screen button. News to me if it's instead (or as well?) the heated wiper park. What does the Elec Guide show is linked to that relay?

In the manual it says heated front screen where fitted or heated wiper park where fitted, I think, I'll double check.

I suppose it's possible it's had a replacement windscreen at some time and changed from heated to none heated so they removed the relay.

The original build spec does not show a heated screen or any "Winter pack"

Chances are neither is fitted so no point fitting the relay.
