My husband and I just bought a 2002 Jaguar S Type 4.0. I've read a couple places that you can enter a test mode by pressing on the stalk trip button beside the steering wheel, but our car doesn't have the button there, its on the dash. He hasn't been able to get it to work, so just wondering if its any different?
Thanks for the help!

Only on younger cars & is almost useless anyway.

Get a decent OBD tool - far more use.

Ok. Thank you.

Maybe you can help me with one more thing. The interior dome lights will not turn off. I have to pull the fuse just to get them off, which its irritating to not have light.

From what I understand its the GEM module. Can you tell me where thats located and if you could think of anything else it could be.
I appreciate any help!

Does your security/immobilizer [PATS] system set when you lock the car?
