Default Success!

I'd like to thank everyone that has contributed to this posting. Got the baby purring again last night. I could not have done it without you all!

Items done:
replaced overflow tank (hole in it)
replaced thermostat
replaced fan belt (cracked)
replaced coolant temp sensor
replaced oil sensor
replaced IMT o-rings
replaced 6 coils (#2 bad)
replaced all spark plugs
replaced 80 amp coolant fan fuse
replaced DCCV

Everything is now working as it should with the exception of the 3-4 pre-stroke valve issue. I ordered my parts for that today.

I fully expect for there to be no more issues and this will become that dependable car. Someone just let it go and I inherited their problem. All the better for me. I got a steal on this car and now it's gonna be worth it!

Thanks again to the Forum!

I think you found the secret to owning a Jaguar.

The market under prices Jaguars and this is an market inefficiency that you have exploited very well! Buy for a very good price.

Get informed about the specific problems of your model car.

Go to the people with the most knowledge of your car-this forum.

And finally the big one-DO THE WORK YOURSELF!!!

Enjoy your newly and correctly repaired discount luxury car.

That's quite a list so I'm glad you got it cheap originally! But once you're on top of the problems, it should be about as reliable as any other car. Enjoy driving it!

I just saw no-one posted abot the meter but hey.
