Default Is this normal

Hey guys looking at an Type R. I noticed in the picture that the message center says, "Cruise Not Available". Is this a normal message or does that mean there is a problem with the cruise control?

The car is in another state so I don't have access to it to read codes. I'll try sending an email to the dealer and maybe they will be truthful and send me the code.

Mine did the exact same thing for a few weeks about a month ago.

Put in a new battery, all is good and no return of message.

Also consulted with Motorcarman before doing so and he had the same recommendation.

Bob is a great guy. Anyone in the DFW area should use his services.

Perhaps it could be a good negotiating point?

Bear in mind that while all prior comments are indeed valid, I believe that car might have Adaptive Cruise Control. A missing or failed ACC module [radar unit] behind the frt bumper will also show that very message. That would prove to be a high dollar repair; $2500 plus.

Good luck!

The adaptive cruise was very, very uncommon. The option to buy it was like $1200-1400.

ACC was an optional, rare, extra. CC is normal. It'll have CC.
