Might be - but those LTFTs are too big.

If they drop when you rev, look for an air leak.

Yup when I rev her up the trims drop to about 6 from double low digits. Where do you think the air leak is coming from?

Well she's running pretty good considering how many miles is on the odo. Did all coils and drivers side bank spark plugs. Will do the other side when I get time but man what a difference a new set of coils and half a set of plugs has done.

Worth cleaning the MAF, too.

Be sure to use the right plugs or expect grief.

BOSCH 6724 OE Fine Wire Platinum Spark Plugs. Will get some alcohol on that thing for real. It’s been accumulating dirt for decades.

650 rpm sounds right.

Your LTFT's are wayyyy to high. Check for vacuum leaks that are common to both banks!

Thanks for the quick replies. Ordered 8 denso 4508 platinums. Wonder why the part store gave me those. Denso set is a buck cheaper. But I’ll swap em out this weekend. Anyway those plugs are compatible they sure feel like it?

Mine needs NGK IFR5N10 (i.e. iridium, change at 100K) and most I can do is guess yours also may but check such as SNG Barrett (sp?) catalogue.

In case yours needs the same do not touch the delicate electrode tip.

The Vehicle Specs PDF I posted recently says iridium.

Maybe SNG Barratt have them?

Ignition system specifications for the 4.0 litre engine from the X200 Workshop Manual:

Be sure not to over tighten the coil unit screws or the brass inserts in the cam covers will come loose.
