oil in the water
hi
i have oil in the water on my S-type 3.0 auto
trying to remove the radiator, i cant see how to seperate the rad from the air con unit
i thought it would just slip off the plastic clips, which are on each side
frightend i might break some thing
is oil in the water a common problem

i have seen a few posts/threads of failed heat exchanger cores with in the radiator .
this causes coolant in the trans and trans fluid in the coolant .
there are bolts on the front side of the rad to remove . and you will need to slightly bend the A/C pipe to get the lower radiator outlet past it .
unless you de-gass the the A/C . And remove the evaporator also .

Oh damn. Ya thats bad. Could be the trans cooler leaking in the radiator. If the oil looks good and not brown gray milkshakelike then check your trans fluid.
as for the radiator, it should come tight out the top once you disconnect the lines hoses fan and mounting bolts. Its not attached to the ac as far as I recall
