Is it the firing order I'm after, not the physical layout? I thought it was the physical layout...?

I was unaware your s-type FAQ did not possess the Vehicle Specification document, I'll add it myself. When in doubt, I try to keep the very latest and informative documents in the xk8-xkr subforum FAQ thread, so if somethings missing in the s-type area, give that a shot!
Also, if there's something you'd like added to the FAQ, either send me a PM with the request (and any links necessary) and I'll get you taken care of.
I just noticed this in your sigline jagv8... I suppose you're welcome is in order.

If you would like the most accurate assistance, it is very helpful to place your vehicle information into your signature line, just look in your member control panel to set it up. Info like year, model, engine size, and other details like mileage can only aid in receiving more replies with the correct information. (thanks, h20boy!)

amazing!!!! it worked - I've got a happy Jag!
thanks again for all the help!
While swapping out the plugs on the left bank, I noticed trace amounts of oil down along the bottom of the spark plug tubes. In #5, there was a fair amount. Looks like I may need to do a set of cam-cover gaskets and any seals that go along the plug tubes.
I'll tackle that one later. For now, its happy - running perfect, and no codes!
thanks for all the help!
