2005 Jaguar S-type R

Happened twice in the last month, both on longer trips - 200 km or so. Restricted performance and throws code P2601. Thought the first time it was because coolant was slightly lower (appeared to be a small leak in the overfill hose which was fixed) but did another long trip this past weekend and same code and limp mode.

Any suggestions?

It's the IAT2 reporting an unexpected (high) temp for the post-SC air so either the IC pump isn't working or some such (IAT2 could be faulty but isn't likely).

 

Thanks guys ordered the intercooler pump. Hopefully this solves it as it appears to be a common problem in these cars.
